To roll out its new store format, Carpetright approached Stamhuis's innovation and design team. Our specialists quickly recognised the concept's potential and got to work. By introducing the flooring specialist to our BIM method and building or renovating its stores using modular principles, we substantially reduced construction time and costs.
A versatile service
From initial layouts and space planning to fitting out and handover, we support Carpetright throughout the process. We quickly cut construction time by three weeks. A relocation can be completed in two weeks, while a remodel takes just one. This covers the whole package: demolition, structural work, the building shell, services, ceilings, floors, signage and the complete store interior.
Full-stock stores and sample stores
Whatever their size, Carpetright stores follow the same layout and interior concept. Carpetright planned to combine a large full-stock store in each region with several nearby sample stores. Customers can visit the sample stores for inspiration, choose products and pay. Purchases can then be collected from the full-stock store or delivered to their homes.
Building virtually first
We build Carpetright stores virtually before starting work on site. Before any physical work begins, the client knows exactly what to expect: the virtual model is almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
